Xena Gabrielle
A Fairy Tale
Once
upon a time, a poet, Xena Gabrielle lived with her beloved wife and two
cats in a castle somewhere in a city in the Eastern USA.
She loved books, art/crafts, writing poetry and times of solitude.
Then
one day she woke up and found that her country had been taken over ne a
foul dragon. She started to notice the dragon was tearing children,
sometimes babies, from mothers, throwing the kids into cages and eating
them.
The dragon also breathed a poisonous flame called hate. He
breathed it on Black people, immigrants, Queer people, Muslims, and
Jews. And anyone who opposed him.
Xena found her country
becoming unrecognizable and knew what she had to do..She had to step
out of her castle to become, not a social justice warrior but a social
justice bard.
She fashioned, using her magick, a sword made of her words and went out to do battle in the Internet Forest.
Her sword had the power of fire.
She set out to find and burn up the dragon
But not long after setting out Xena stumbled on a tumbledown rickety dirty hut
In the hut lived an ugly ogre called Noticer who worshipped the Dragon .
The
ogre thought he could silence the social justice warriors and bards by
inscribing their names in a Book. Xena saw her name in this Book.
Xena could see very well what Noticer's weakness was, his book was made up only of: lies.
So while Noticer was asleep, Xena waved her sword and chanted a poetic spell and the sword lit up with fire.
She ran into the shed and burnt the Book of Lies to ashes
Because
Xena was a merciful warrior bard she spared Noticer's life and he ran
away screaming and crying and was never heard from again.
And soon after that the dragon was expelled and the people celebrated with a feast of brandied im-peaches.
